The achievements of young French and Sri Lankan professionals in diverse fields including medicine, engineering and law were recognised at an awards night organised by the Sinhala Cultural Association in France on 26 November. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to France Manisha Gunasekera as the Guest of Honour, accompanied by the Embassy staff. The Ambassador in her address welcomed the timely intiiative, commended the youth, and highlighted that these youthful skills and talent pool would be “our shared asset steering #SriLanka #France relations to new heights.”
