Another one golden social work by Most Venerable Murungagasyaye Gnanissara Nayaka Thero

As a concept & mainly sponsored by the Chief Court Sanga Nayaka in France & Chief Priest of Jethavana Vihara in Paris, Most Venerable Murungasyaye Gnanissara Nayaka Thero newly build 50 bed ward complex at the Middeniya rural Hospital declared open recently. 

Newly this ward complex aims to improve the existing infrastructure of the Hospital and fulfill the medical care needs of in-patients admitted to the Hospital from Middeniya and adjoining villages.

The Project has been implemented under full grant assistance of the Most Venerable Murungasyaye Gnanissara Nayaka Thero amounting to LKR 30 million over.

There are one ward room with two beds for Bhikkhus & another one ward room with two beds for Bhikkhunis. Others are 20 beds ward for men patients & 20 beds ward for women patients. By the way, one rest room reserved for doctors with 03 beds & one rest room reserved for nurses with 03 beds in this newly ward complex. 

This is the first time built as a ward complex for Bhikkhu, Bhikkhuni, Upasaka & Upasika (the wall of the Gautama Buddha Sasana) who treatment under the one roof. 

In simultaneous of this event, donated more than 1000 pair of spectacles, financial donations for soldiers families, Piriven Samanera Bhikkhus. 

The newly build 50 bed ward complex at the Middeniya rural Hospital unveiled the flag by Most Venerable Paravahera Chandaratana Thero, the Chief Sanga Nayaka in France & Most Venerable Galayaye Piyadassi, Kekunadure Hemalankara, Welipitiye Rathanasiri, Mapalagama Buddhasiri, Gammeddegoda Wimala, Balangoda Sobhitha Theros were also present during the special occasion.

After the opening ceremony, Maha Sanga Dana & whole night pirith chanting held at the Purana Rajamaha Vihara premises, Middeniya.

End of the series of these events held a special holy blessing puja by Most Venerable Kotapola Amarakitti Thero.

According to the Load Gautama Buddha’s teaching, alms-giving is the noble alms. And explore the Dhamma in worldwide is a most valuable merit.
